Environmental Workshop for K-12 Monroe County Educators
"Envirocircles: Holding the Hoop in Our Hands"
Discover a variety of ways to teach the envirocircles around
us. Attend the Workshop for K-12 Educators. Great for K-12 classrooms, youth
organization leaders, resource personnel and others. Presentations meet state
education standards and can be adapted for K-12 and adult. Presentations convey
key concepts in environmental education such as habitat, human rights,
biodiversity, and interdependence, and instills such values as conservation,
cooperation, sustainability, and empathy, encouraging children and adults to
become responsible stewards of the earth.
Attendance is limited to 25 participants.
